Warranty

Because customer satisfaction and after-sales care is one of the most important aspects of our business, all G-Rods fishing rods come with a unique warranty program. We take great care to ensure that each G-Rod is manufactured from the finest materials and to the highest possible standard. However, the precise nature of fishing rod manufacturing can, on rare occasions, result in faults. If you experience any problems with your fishing rod, we will deal with it as quickly as possible after confirmation of your warranty registration details.

First Damage
G-Rods has a full replacement or repair policy for the first damaged rod. All warranty conditions must be met before replacement or repair. We understand accidents happen, and we want you to be back in the water quickly!  Warranty replacement fee for first damage is $50.

All Damages After First Damage
If you damage your rod anytime after the initial damage, we will repair or replace the damaged rod. The replacement fee is 65% of MSRP. All warranty conditions must be met before replacement or repair.

Warranty Conditions:

  • Warranty applies to original owner only.
  • Warranty if voided if any alternations are made to any G-Rods products.  For fishing rods, components (guides, reel seats, cork, EVA, winding checks, threads, etc.) should never be altered.
  • No warranties on blanks once custom rods with G-Rods blanks are built.
  • PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE.
  • The broken rod, proof of purchase, and replacement fee must be sent to G-Rods International at 555 Republic Drive, Suite 200, Plano, Texas 75074.
  • Fill out online claim form.
  • Return shipping must be prepaid by rod owner or $50 charge for standard ground shipping will be invoiced to rod owner prior to shipping. Not including expedited shipment. 
  • Subject to inspection and assessment of the fault by our service center, we guarantee we will repair or replace a customer’s rod with the same model or a superior model if a direct replacement is unavailable.
  • We will take action on the warranty process as soon we have your rod and confirmation of your warranty registration details.
